I am an artist. There is no set medium, style or vision. Everything is relative to the the discussion and the work.
Buildings and Infastructure
I am fascinated by buildings and infrastructure, especially the forgotten or unnoticed elements within our world. The pipe thats been left in place long after the radiator is removed or the switch that does nothing are fascinating
Commisions
I've got five kids to feed, if you like what you see and want to buy it or have something similar, just ask!
MY INSPIRATION
A glimpse into my odd little mind
I do not try to perfectly recreate colour or form in anything I create. In fact a playful twist on perspective and shape is what I am often more interested in especially when painting buildings. Currently I m referring to these as my "wonky" paintings. Realism died with AI - make things human by getting them wrong and throwing in some character.
Architecture
Buidings are beautiful, some are anyway. I try and capture them without getting to involved with their specific dimensions and my palette is somewhat free. This I hope brings character and warmth to. these fantastic structures and gives them an energy that can be otherwise lacking visually rather than emotionally.
Freedom
I cannot stand the idea of being bogged down in a style. Personality will always seep through an artwork, but theres no reason not to pick up a paintbrush on Monday, spray paints on Tuesday and start throwing ink around on Thursday. Wednesdays ae obviously a good day to have off...
